It depends. If you don't care about quality, buy the cheap brands or the copies of the expensive brands. You could probably get those for $5 - $10. Then, just remove the band.

If you want quality, well, then you'll probably have to buy expensive, then remove the bands.

When my last watch band gave out, I just removed the straps and made a new band out of paracord.

Maybe check ebay and see if there is a supplier of bulk watch faces?

If you want cheap faces, hit up aliexpress and do a search. You can find all sorts of watches for under $5 each, usually in lots of 10 or more per design. They are inexpensive, made-in-China stuff, but for costume jewelry it's good.

My wife has me make her new watch bands for her Timex Expedition whenever the mood strikes her. Just about any watch with a standard removable band should have room between the pin and the watch face to slip in two to four strands of 550 cord.

Would help to know more about you, what kind of things you typically USE everyday. Hard to create something you would use everyday, without knowing what you already use.

I think it is an excellent training for teachers. I worked as a teacher and so I would be very helpful. Now most of the time working here http://casinointheuk.com/. But I plan to go back to teaching.
