Wide Soloman Bar Bracelet

Postby Feathers » Thu Mar 06, 2014 6:25 am

Hi,

I've been examining JD's tutorials on the wide soloman bar and the one with the buckle. And I can't figure out how I can create a bracelet like the one with the buckle, but with 2 colours instead of 1 as shown in his tutorial.

I've searched everywhere and most people just do it normally and then burn and fuse the ends around the 2nd buckle. This makes for a very unclean look/feel. I'd really like to do it the way JD has done, by inserting the running ends through the 2nd buckle and starting from there.

Has anyone figured out a way to have 2 colours done the way JD has instructed?

Check Mr.Coop's:

Here at the end I would tuck the ends under somehow instead of cutting and burning to be seen. Just an idea.

Ooh, thanks! That gave me an idea! He didn't even need to fuse the colours to switch them at the beginning, just a larks head knot on top of the other would do!

Thanks so much! :D
